Position Details:
NICVA is recruiting for a Front End Web Developer to design and build responsive web applications to support the organisation’s digital strategy.

Job Title: Front End Web Developer
Salary: Salary equivalent NICVA scale G, NJC points 29 - 31 (£25,440- £27,123). Candidates will normally be appointed at the start of the pay scale.
Status of the post: Full time, fixed term post until September 2016 (outcome of a 3 year funding decision pending)

Job Role
The main purpose of the Web Developer role is:

To design and build responsive web applications to support the organisation’s digital strategy.
To play a key role in the multi-disciplinary digital team.
To continually develop and share your knowledge of digital technologies and web development
At the closing date, in addition to other criteria, applicants must have:

2 years’ working experience in a front end web development role using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
2 years’ experience in developing web solutions that meet customer requirements
Demonstrable experience in using website analytics and the usability testing to inform UX Design
Demonstrable experience in building responsive sites suitable for desktop, tablet and mobile
